Dead Air Lives!

Welcome, welcome, welcome... to the new home of "Dead Air"!

For those of you who have just stumbled upon this here blog, allow this blurb to bring you to speed...

"Dead Air" is an internet radio program which originally aired on the Berklee Internet Radio Network (or the 'BIRN', for short) from Spring 2009 to the Fall of 2011. The show was hosted by the dynamic DJ duo of DannyDuoshade & Ms. Jenn X, a pair of uprooted outsiders with a passion for Animation, B-Movies, and of course, Rock 'n' Roll. It was a program like no other, specializing in "songs you've never heard, by bands you've never heard of" and filling the space between with deep cuts from fan favorite groups, films, characters, and cartoons. Each episode bursted open like a fresh new grab bag of subterranean counter culture, strangling the limits of format and trading the suffocated remains of familiarity for a stylistic shock to a sputtering system. Unfortunately, Dead Air left the scene as abruptly as it entered, leaving fans and followers to wonder just what might become of Ms. X and DannyDuoshade.

That brings us here... to a new residence.

With the power of technology, "Dead Air" will sit up once more and ramble on reanimated.
Brothers and sisters, the Revolution will not be televised... It will be broadcast.

Stay tuned.
